Timberland Hills trails consist of about 30km of cross country ski trails and construction has begun on a new 25+ mile single track mountain bike trail network.

In 2023, the Cumberland Area Ski Touring Association (CASTA) transitioned into Timberland Hills Foundation (THF) and as part of that process became a 501(c)3 tax-exempt public charity. Essentially we are the same organization with the same ski trails – just a new name, new mountain bike trails in the works, and now we are recognized as a 501(c)3 organization.

Timberland Hills Foundation does not receive Federal or State funds and relies on daily use donations, memberships and gifts to maintain and expand our trail networks. Below you will be able to complete your membership. After completing the process, you will automatically be directed to our donation page. On the that page you will have the opportunity to give a tax-deducible gift. Any amount is much appreciated and is critical to providing a quality trail system.

If you become a Business Sponsor, your business name and contact information will be posted in the warming house at the trailhead.

We are currently in the planning stages of a number large projects:

  • A used, but newer Pisten Bully groomer that will allow us to install cruise control for our groomer operators ($100,000 - $150,000)
  • Expansion and improvement of our parking lot ($15,000)
  • A new vault toilet that can be better maintained in winter ($20,000)
  • Continued trail expansion and improvements

Any gift -- large or small -- is much appreciated. You may choose a preset amount or type a custom amount in the gift box.
